Elmbridge impact

What is Impact?

Impact, is a youth forum which brings together young people aged 11-19 from across the borough of Elmbridge to have their say and have an influence on issues that are important to them. It is open to any young person attending school or college, living in or working in Elmbridge.

It exists to: Express a view on behalf of young people in Elmbridge; Help young people develop an understanding of local and national issues which affect them; Campaign on local issues that young people care about; Promote and encourage activities, events and create opportunities; Celebrate the achievements of young people in Elmbridge; Participate in Government initiatives such as the Surrey Youth Parliament, and British Youth Council.

There are a number of issues that are relevant to young people today, from tuition fees to youth unemployment, to the cost of transport, and the perception of young people or any other issue that young people of Elmbridge may be facing. This is a great opportunity for young people to get involved and have a real say in what they believe in. Impact can help tackle these issues and make a real difference.

Impact is back!!!
